If “white supremacist” has become part of your frequent vocabulary in the past few years, you’ve been impacted by propaganda.
If “white guilt”, “white privilege” or “white trash” are part of the water cooler conversations at work or in your social groups, you’ve been accosted by propaganda.
If you’ve been fired, written up, or otherwise harassed because of your refusal to complete your required DEI training, your employer has created a toxic atmosphere because of the pressure of propaganda.
And if the 1619 Project, gender fluidity and promoting tampons for boys bathrooms is part of your school life and curriculum....if you are teaching and learning that America is inherently racist, well, you’re pushing and receiving the lies of propaganda.
Many of us are weary of the tripe; we’re tired of the fringe minority having the largest microphone to push woke ideology, rewrites of history and identity politics. We’re exhausted from the tireless efforts to divide Americans and subvert natural common sense.
But there’s good news out there --it’s refreshing and in ascendance. The well funded propaganda machine is breaking. It’s been happening over the past two years, but rapidly gaining momentum. With delight, the malfunctioning cogs and wheels sound a lot like children laughing over and against the distant bellows of billionaires in a bear market.
Much like David bringing down the arrogant, bronze-clad Goliath by one well placed stone, the warriors of independent journalism have identified the weak spot in the amour of mainstream media and taken aim with a proven weapon: investigative journalism revealing truth ...that also makes people laugh. With this winning formula, the propaganda output of CNN, ABC, MSNBC and NBC is being dismantled at a steady pace.
Take for example, the success of the popular 2022 documentary, ‘What Is a Woman’ starring Matt Walsh and directed by Justin Folk. To date, the educational and entertaining film has garnered over 187 million views on Elon Musk’s X platform alone. Not only do audiences come away from the documentary with an understanding of the origins of gender ideology, including the disturbing and cruel experiments of John Money, but also an awareness of the current “medical professionals” in our country profiting from these destructive beliefs. All done in an engaging and often humorous way.
Another star rising, making frequent headlines because of his anti-DEI crusade is Robby Starbuck. Just this year alone, the film director and conservative activist has dismantled the woke policies of companies such as John Deere, Harley-Davidson, Tractor Supply, Ford and Lowes in a very public way. Sunlight is a great disinfectant for harmful ideologies.
Robby is as enjoyable to follow on X as he is inspiring in the way he and his team operate. He’s a great communicator and has the ability to research and coordinate with internal employees to expose the insanity of woke corporate policies from the inside. This method enables him to drop ‘info bombshells’ consecutively and consistently over the course of hours and days to a following of over six-hundred thousand. His approach is much like the strafing of Germany by the Allied forces during WWII, with the same effect.
And then take the King of political satire, the Babylon Bee; intellectual comedy at it’s best. There’s a reason the Bee has millions of followers. Owners, Seth and Dan Dillion, along with Editor in Chief, Kyle Mann, deliver biting humor always based on some element of truthful political event or commentary. Their cartoons, articles and videos resonate with many Americans whose angst at deliberate lies from Legacy media is alleviated by the laughter produced from poking holes in the narrative.
And in the category of boots-on-the-ground journalism, Blaze TV is an independent network on the rise, providing, for example, actual interviews with residents of Springfield, OH. Imagine that. If you tend to watch only the major networks for your information or believed the ‘fact checkers’ during the presidential debate on September 10, you may find it refreshing- and shocking- to hear first hand accounts from American citizens actually living through the ordeal.
Two other independent journalists gaining millions of followers by sharing real glimpses into life in the United States are Tyler Oliveira and Peter Santenello. Tyler’s edgy and hard-hitting videos take you, for example, into the streets of San Francisco to see and listen to those affected by drug addiction and homelessness. Tyler confronts cultural issues and is unafraid to enter dangerous places and ask tough questions of people from all walks of life.
In a similar but perhaps more nuanced and mature way, Peter Santenello offers insights from across the nation into specific regions. His episode on Appalachia, filmed in southern WV, ranks as his most popular video to date, with 28 million views. He has also visited our nation’s southern border, filming and speaking with the local law enforcement. Peter has a calm and likable persona and clearly, a great respect for other human beings. That quality has allowed him to gain access to very remote places and unique people in the U.S.
Tyler and Peter both provide a realistic view of current life in America, free of ulterior motive and newspeak. Their work and others like them provide a thorn in the side of mainstream news who refuse to do honest journalism.
Last but certainly not least are four powerhouses continually climbing in terms of viewership, financial growth, and expansion. Elon Musk’s newly revamped X platform, the Daily Wire media company founded by Jeremy Boreing and Ben Shapiro, the Epoch Times, founded directly in response to propaganda and censorship of the people of China and Prager U, founded by Dennis Prager and Allen Estrin.
These expanding enterprises continually hammer the foundation of America’s established media who frequently promote lies and deception. Offering not only an alternative viewpoint, but investigating claims made by the mainstream, reporters from the Daily Wire and Epoch Times have served to bring clarity to issues such as child mutilation and sterilization often labeled ‘gender affirming care’ by those supporting the profitable gender-pharmaceutical industrial complex.
Founded in 2009, Prager U now delivers their conservative, pro-America content to 5 million viewers per day. With thousands of videos and a multitude of shows to reach an audience of young children through senior citizens, it is no wonder the mainstream machine continually targets Prager U in an effort to censor and minimize their impact.
With the freedom of speech enjoyed on Musk’s X platform to engage in the arena of public debate and the expansion of Daily Wire’s offerings such as children’s programming, podcasts, and film, the tide is turning. Mainstream media is losing their viewers and credibility.
With the making of Daily Wire’s newest documentary, “Am I Racist” starring Matt Walsh, they have provided another winning combination— exposing the illogical left-wing ideology of DEI accompanied by laughs that will make you spill your popcorn.
So, take heart fellow Americans. Much like Gandalf instructing the warriors of Gondor to aim at the trolls rather than the apparatus delivering the orcs, conservative, common-sense journalists and media companies have honed their skills; they now know exactly where to aim to bring down the lies and how to do it well. The days of truth and clarity are being renewed.
