There are so many unique and wonderful stories deeply rooted in many small towns across America, and Fayetteville, West Virginia is no exception.  Most people nowadays don't know that one of the special features of this mountain community is that it boasts a town flag.  A flag that is still flying today, some 40 years later.  And, like any other structure or monument, Fayetteville's Town Flag has a story worth telling... and sharing... because inspired, generous people are what make up the essence of community.

I hope you enjoy Episode 9 of Beacon News West Virginia.  If you have special memories to share of Fayetteville, "One of America's Coolest Towns" , please comment below : )
